In today's Tirana, Agim and Gëzim, two identical twin brothers who are deaf-mute and inseparable, live under the same roof. Ana, Gëzim's lively thirty-year-old girlfriend, visits them quite often. One evening, Agim is driving home with Gëzim when his vision becomes unclear, and a fatal accident is about to happen. At the ophthalmologist's a few days later, the two brothers discover that, due to a rare genetic disease, they will progressively and irreversibly go blind, each on their own. Slowly, sinking into an unbearable silent darkness, unable to see the world and each other, only Ana by their side, the two brothers must make an important decision over a cup of coffee, wearing new shoes.
